Kenya: What Former President Daniel Moi Did Was Doing In Israel Amid ‘Death’ Reports

The ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday responded to widely circulated reports of former President Daniel Moi alleged death.
In a press statement, the ministry rubbished the information as mere fabrication and informed the world that Mr Moi was recuperating in Tel Aviv, Israel.


“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade would like to confirm that H.E. the former President is in Tel Aviv, Israel, for a routine medical check-up that has been very successful. H.E .the former President is recuperating well and is in very good health,” the Ministry said in a statement

The ministry went ahead to divulge that Moi took time on Wednesday to tour Israel.

“He will be sightseeing today and he takes this opportunity to wish all his fellow Kenyans well,” the statement read.
