An excited Kanye took a video of his family’s experience as some of his large entourage stood next to the helicopter in the company of elated children.
The hip-hop artiste and his family were airlifted from Chobe to Masulita where they dished out numerous pairs of Yeezy sneakers to ecstatic children.
Despite criticism thrown his way when news broke that he was to meet Museveni, the rapper made his way to State House Entebbe where he held “fruitful discussions” on “how to promote Uganda’s tourism and the arts”.
The US rapper and fashion designer gifted Museveni a signed pair of sneakers and in return, Kanye walked away with a copy of the president’s book, Sowing the Mustard Seed: The Struggle for Freedom and Democracy.
The book is an autobiography of Museveni.
This is not the first time an artist is aboard the chopper though. In September, Bebe Cool was Museveni’s guest at his Rwakitura home.
Bebe was flown to and from the venue alongside his crew.
