The Catalan giants thumped the Reds 3-0 in the first leg of their Champions League final last week, and were favourites to see the tie out at Anfield.
But Liverpool beat Barcelona 4-0 at Anfield to book their spot in this season’s final in Madrid, sparking jubilant scenes on Merseyside.
Speaking on BT Sport after the game, Klopp said: “The boys are f***ing giants – it’s believable. If you have to fine me, fine me. I’m not native so I don’t have better words for it.”
He added: “It’s 10 past 10, the children are probably in bed.
“Creating this kind of emotional atmosphere together is so special.
“It’s all about the players. James Milner was crying at the end. It’s so special – the mix of potential and unbelievable heart – I’ve never seen it before.”
Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde also spoke to the press after the match.
The Spaniard said: “Liverpool have rolled us over. It is a terrible result for our fans and ourselves. Credit to Liverpool.”
“They were really driven on by the support of their own fans. Moral wise it was hard to pick us up. That pushed us forward and we couldn’t resist that.”
