The banking group which is present in 16 African countries has used Côte d’Ivoire as a pilot market for this new service. “Our presence in more than 60 markets provides us with an unrivaled opportunity to test and refine new concepts in unique locations before deploying them across multiple sites. We are currently doing this in Côte d’Ivoire where we are testing a purely digital banking offer , ” explains Bill Winters, the Group’s Chief Executive Officer in the annual financial report for 2017.
