The “Diamant” Award for Best African Public Service Administrator returned to the Public Service Contracts Department of Côte d’Ivoire. The award was presented during a competition organized by the Network of Communication Professionals for African Integration (REPCIAF), held from 26 to 30 July in Morocco in Casablanca.
The Director of Public Service Competitions, Dr. Kouassi Brice, was himself the head of the Ivorian delegation composed of some officials from the Public Service Competition Directorate.
This meeting of excellence in Morocco brought together 17 of the continent’s leading development players, including Morocco, Gabon, Burkina Faso, Tunisia, Central African Republic, Togo, Cameroon, Guinea, Senegal , The Congo, Côte d’Ivoire.
During this gathering, each candidate had the opportunity, on the morning of July 29th at Oum Palace Hotel, to present his managerial vision and the results obtained.
The presentation by Dr Kouassi Brice, who convinced the jury members, had different points. It involves the organization and valorization of a work team, the computerization of the organizational processes for administrative competitions, the codified copy sheets, the new structuring of the organization of the competitions and the deconcentration of the Organization of the tests. Actions that enabled the Administration to get closer to its users.
For the latter, a good managerial policy places human resources at the heart of the success of any company. This is why he remains attached to his credo inspired by the humanist current that he continues to defend, “the one who works as a team can only have convincing results. But the one who is alone, even if he is hyper intelligent, has already failed . ”
The reforms involved in organizing administrative competitions over the last three editions have enabled the Public Service Contest Directorate of Côte d’Ivoire to receive the diamond super prize for the best administrator of African public services.
