Nelly Tison, 97 years old, has managed to defeat the coronavirus, as reported by La Voix du Nord in its edition last Wednesday. This is unexpected news that her family announced with joy.
The granny is a resident of a nursing home in Marly, in the North. She was hospitalized for a few days in Valenciennes in late March and tested positive for the virus. During her hospitalization, she was put on respiratory assistance and she recovered. The nonagenarian has even already returned to her residence.
When her daughter Maud learned of her mother’s recovery, she gave a touching testimony on the Web:
“ I HAVE WAITED FOR DAYS AND DAYS, BUT NOW I KNOW SHE IS HEALED. I TELL MYSELF THAT IT IS UNEXPECTED, IT IS SOMETHING INCREDIBLE “,
It was in early March that the first symptoms of her mother were noticed. Believing that she was suffering from bronchitis, the covid-19 signals persisted. Two weeks later, the granny’s health suddenly declined, with signs of respiratory distress and a high fever.
Admitted to Valenciennes hospital thereafter, she tested positive for Covid-19. Placed under respiratory assistance the following week, Nelly Tison completely recovered. She therefore left the hospital to return to her nursing home. No information filtered on the treatment which was administered to him.
The news caused a sensation on social networks, while the third are the most severely affected by the Covid-19.
