” I woke up one day and went through it as typical, when I felt the abrupt urge to give up everything– my task, my relationship and my spirituality. Prior to that, I went to have a final talk with God, and asked him if he can give me a minimum of one reason that not to quit it all.”
” Take a look around you,” God stated. “Do you see the fern and the bamboo?” I said “Yes. When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took great care of them. I gave them light. I provided water. The fern rapidly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the flooring. In the second year the Fern grew more dynamic and plentiful. Yet absolutely nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.”
He said: “In year 3 there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not give up. In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would not stop.”
” Then in the fifth year a tiny grow emerged from the earth. Compared with the fern it was relatively small and insignificant … But just 6 months later on the bamboo rose to over 100 feet high.
It had spent the 5 years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and provided it exactly what it needed to survive.I would not offer any of my productions a challenge it could not deal with.”
After that, He asked me: “Did you understand, my child, that this time you have actually been having a hard time, you have really been growing roots. I would not give up on the bamboo.I will never ever give up on you.”
” Do not compare yourself to others.” He included. “The bamboo had a different Function than the fern. Yet they both make the forest beautiful.” God stated to me: “Your time will come”
” You will rise high”.
I asked: “How high should I rise?”
” How high will the bamboo increase?” He likewise asked.
I was puzzled: “As high as it can?”
” Yes.” He stated, “Give Me magnificence by increasing as high as you can.”
After this discussion I left the forest and I composed this remarkable story. I really hope that these words can help you to see that God will never ever quit on you
