According to Celebritiesbuzz.com.gh, John Dumelo and his girlfriend Gifty Mawunya, together for two years, have decided to seal their union. The traditional wedding took place on Saturday May 12 in Accra, Ghana.
The rather discreet ceremony was attended by close friends and family members. Several celebrities from Nigerian and Ghanaian cinema were also present.
The videos of the bride and groom making their way to the venue of the ceremony were widely shared on social media.
It has been reported that Gifty Mawunya is a close friend of the famous actress Nadia Buhari. The latter would have helped the newlyweds to get together.
However, everyone is curious to know the woman who finally managed to steal the heart of the charming actor. Unlike many reports, Gifty Mawunya is not an ordinary woman. She is the sister of Selassie Ibrahim, the actress who directed Smarttys Management, the company at the heart of a bus branding scandal during the reign of President John Dramani Mahama.
