The 50-year-old woman impressed almost every soccer fan following the 2018 World Cup with her elegance and beauty.

To attend the matches of her team, the 50-year-old Croatian president took a leave of absence without pay and paid herself her plane ticket to go to Russia and thus be able to encourage Croatian players, reports Ouest France .

The story behind the woman who was very friendly and did not stop to hug almost every player and dignitary she met is that Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, one of the most powerful women to the world according to the prestigious magazines  Forbes, is a champion in the art of mastering her communication.

The Croatian President married Jakov Kitarovic, 49, 22 years ago now.

The couple married in 1996 and Jakov Kitarovic was next to his wife since the beginning of Kolinda’s gradual ascent on the political scene in Croatia
This 50-year-old woman has held the positions of Minister of European Affairs, Minister Foreign Affairs, Ambassador to the United States, NATO Assistant Secretary for Public Diplomacy and is now President of Croatia.

The couple has two children. Their 17-year-old daughter, Katarina Kitarovic, is the Croatian champion of junior figure skating. There is also their son Luka who was born in 2003.

Kolinda Grabav-Kitarovic officially represented Croatia in the quarter-finals and final of the 2018 World Cup.

Croatia lost to the final 4-2 against France, but we will always remember the fighting spirit of this nation, in almost every match it has played, alongside elegance and hospitality posted by President Kolinda Grabav-Kitarovic.

In the locker room, the first woman to chair Croatia congratulated the players of the French team in French (and in French, please): “Congratulations and long live France! “ If she exclaimed to applause.
