Last weekend, young Gabonese activists took to the side the beautiful father of the Gabonese president Ali Bongo. While Father of Gabon’s first lady, Silva Bongo, had a drink on a terrace in a Parisian bar with Crepin Gwodock, a former Gabonese minister and member of the Bongo clan. The latter, it will be recalled, had treated the Gabonese of the diaspora of ” migrants of the jungle ” to defend Ali Bongo in the disputes that followed the presidential elections of August 2016.
While sirs Edouard-Pierre Valentin and Crépin Gwodock sipped their glasses in this district of the Champs Elysées, this Saturday June 24 in the early evening, young activists of the Gabonese diaspora arrived, shouting, and calling them criminals. These young people who denounce a fraudulent re-election of Ali Bongo, have failed to come to the hands with those whom they call Gabon’s enemies and murderers.
Edouard-Pierre Valentin, the father of the first lady of Gabon, made a fortune in insurance and oil in Gabon for decades. He was then considered by the Gabonese public to be part of the caciques of the Bongo regime (father and son).
The intervention of the French police …, the call of Ali Bongo.
Fortunately the police arrived a few minutes later, and managed to disperse the crowd present.
Informed of this humiliating incident for the old Valentine, Ali Bongo would have returned in a black anger. He immediately summoned his ambassador in France to offer adequate protection and quality to his father-in-law in the face of Gabon’s anger.
Flavien Enongoué was executed by publishing a communiqué denouncing this citizen inquiry, and shouting at the laxity of the French authorities.
