Huge Dinasour-Looking Lizard Caught On The Side Of Australian House, Not Photoshop!

What would you do if you came across a lizard that was so huge it almost looked like a dinasour. I know chances flight will be the first thing on my mind. Not for Eric Holland who captured this scary image of a 1.5 metre (5-foot-long)  long lizard crawiling across his house.

Confronted by such an unusual animal danger would register quickly, since a lot of animals in Australia are dangerous. it is even more uncommon to see such rare animals in a built up area. The photograph was taken in Thurgoona, New South Wales, and shows a lace monitor lizard.

These miniature Aussie godzillas can grow up to two meters (6.5 foot) long and are carnivorous, usually feasting on a diet of birds, eggs, small mammals, and other reptiles. However, it is a rare sight to see one of these reptiles in a built-up area, as they usually shy away from the hustle and bustle of humans by retreating deep into the eastern Australian bush.
