How Aliko Dangote, Nicky Oppenheimer, Johann Rupert, 3 Other Billionaires Raked in $8.35 Billion in One Year

In the last one year, African billionaires have enjoyed smooth business deals and all the members of the three-comma club smiled to the bank, according to the latest Bloomberg Billionaire Index.

According to the Billionaires’ Index table tracked by Business Insider Sub-Saharan African on Friday, April 26, 2019, the six billionaires – Aliko DangoteNicky OppenheimerJohann RupertNatie Kirsh, and the Egyptian brothers, Nassef and Naguib Sawiris raked $8.35 billion in the last one year.

The six African billionaires are the only ones captured in the world’s 500 richest people and among the movers and shakers of the billionaires’ club.

1. Aliko Dangote
