There are times that your urine could change colours which may have left you concerned.

The color of your urine can change for many reasons. These can range from the food you eat to the medicines you take, to certain medical conditions.

The more water you drink, the clearer your urine looks.

As a general rule of thumb, it’s usually a good sign for your health when the color of your urine is a pale shade of yellow or clear. Dark yellow urine can be normal, but it might mean you need more fluids.

Hence, these are what the different colours of your urine may mean:

This means you’re drinking too much water and you need to control it.

3. Dark Yellow

4. Orange

There is not enough water in your system or you have a bile duct or liver infection. It may also be food dye.

5. Reddish Pink

There may be blood in the urine or you have probably eaten a lot of beetroots and berries. It could also be a urinary tract infection or kidney disease.

6. Brown

This could be a sign of liver disease or dehydration.

7. Blue
