Health: 2018 Africa Health Expo Officially Launched; Here’s the full details you should know

The second edition of Africa Health Expo will be held from October 25 to 27, 2018. The official launch ceremony took place on Thursday, July 5, at the Sofitel Hotel Ivoire Abidjan in front of a crowd of guests, including the press.

This is the room Chandelier Lagunes of Sofitel Ivoire which served as part of the official launch ceremony of Africa Health Expo. An opportunity that Ms. Bouboutou Kaboré Linda, president of the organizing committee, seized to announce the main lines of this major event for health in Africa.

It should be noted that PharmAfrica Expo, whose first edition took place last year, becomes this year, Africa Health Expo, because of the integration of other areas of health, including medicine, cosmetics, or botany.


Presenting the proceedings, Kaboré Linda, quoted four major parts that will furnish Africa Health Expo 2018. The event that will be held from 25 to 27 October 2018 will be composed of four symposia: Pharmafrica (dedicated to the world of pharmacy), MedAfrica ( dedicated to the world of medicine), BeautyAfrica (dedicated to the world of beauty) and Africa Santé Action (dedicated to charity actions). The leaders of these poles succeeded each other later, to educate in details, the unfolded of these 3 days of work.

Picking up the microphone for her closing remarks, the president of the organizing committee especially insisted on the support of all the actors of the health, the authorities, the press, and the populations as a whole. She thanked them for their presence at the launching ceremony, before inviting all these actors to mobilize for the success of this important exhibition.

Africa Health Expo 2018 will be held at the Blue Park Ivory Gulf Club on the theme ” The quality approach to the development of health systems and the well-being of populations”
