Germany: Threatened with Deportation, Senegalese Immigrant Jumps from a Building

A Senegalese national by the name of Mohammed Awa Cisse fled by jumping from the roof of the police building, after the rejection of his asylum request in Deggendorf ‘in the BAYERN region in Germany.

Informed by the central immigration service that he should be deported to Dakar, he rushed to the window to jump from the adjacent roof when the police tried to place him in police custody.


The 36-year-old man ended up with a serious injury, including 3 broken legs and excruciating pain in the pelvis. Currently, he is interned in Deggendorf hospital.
