Sad news for the Gabonese sports world. Moise Brou Apanga, Gabon’s defender, died in full training last Wednesday. Moise Apanga is 35 years old and lives in FC 105 in Libreville.

It is the Gabonese football federation that announces his death. Naturalized Gabonese, the player of Ivorian origin, is a former member of Brest in France. He was born on 4 February 1962 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

According to information, Moses Brou Apanga had started his football career in Abidjan. Later, he left for Romania at the age of 15 years. Three years later, he left this country to deposit his bags in Italy.

There, his first difficulties begin. The Ivorian is without a club after a long injury. He will return to his country, Cote d’Ivoire, before signing to FC 105 Libreville, one of the leading clubs of Gabon. He evolves from 2006 to 2008.

”  In August 2008, he signed a two-year contract with the Stade Brestois in the French Ligue 2. In May 2010, he extended his three-year contract with the Stade Brestois. Club with which he will play in Ligue 1, during the 2010-2011 season , “report many local media. Due to his injuries, Moise Brou Apanga will not play a championship game in the 2011-2012 season.

Against all odds, he decides on October 5, 2012, to terminate his contract with the Stade Brestois. He then returned to Gabon, where he initially joined the local club of Manga Sport and then with his former club, FC 105.

Moïse Brou Apanga was selected for the first time with the Panthères du Gabon in 2007. Alain Giresse, the French coach, was in charge of the Panthères. Moise Brou Apanga had 29 caps in Team A of Gabon for 1 goal.
