Former Tanzania President, Magufuli, To Be Buried On March 25th At His Chato Home

 

Former Tanzania president, Joseph Magufuli will be buried on Thursday, March 25th at his Chato home in the northwestern region of Geita.

Tanzanian citizens will have the opportunity to pay their final respects during four public viewings. The first takes place on Saturday, March 20th. Magufuli’s body will leave Jeshi Lugalo hospital for St. Peter’s Parish then later proceed to Uhuru Stadium.

 

On Sunday, March 21st, Tanzanians in Dar-es-Salaam will get a chance to view the former president’s body.  Residents in Dodoma will have their viewing on Monday, March 22.

 

Mwanza residents will have their chance on Tuesday, March 23.

 

On Wednesday, March 25 Magufuli’s body will be taken to his home, in Chato, where family members, people in Chato and neighbouring places will have their turn.  Magufuli will be buried the following day.
