Former Nigerian Vice President, Atiku Celebrates Wizkid, Burna Boy On Their Grammy Wins


Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has taken to Twitter to congratulate Wizkid and Burna Boy on their Grammy wins on Sunday.



According to the ex-VP, talents abound in Nigeria and the success of Nigerians at Grammy Awards was an evidence that there is so much global talents in the country.


Wizkid won the Best Music Video Award alongside Beyonce and Blue Ivy for the ‘Brown Skin Girl’ music video.


Burna Boy also won his first-ever prestigious Grammy Award for the Best Global Music Album category for his album Twice As Tall.


In one of his tweets, the Atiku described Wizkid as an epitome of talent. He wrote, “I am delighted and proud as a Nigerian at Wizkid’s Grammy win. Wizkid is an epitome of talent that abounds in Nigeria. Congrats @wizkidayo.”


He also congratulated Burna Boy in a picture-tweet captioned, “Congrats @Burnaboy #Grammys”, for winning the Global Music Award.


Many celebrities and fans of the two musicians have been lavishing them with praises on social media since the announcement of their wins last night.
