Former Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Mike Tyson Wants to Return to WWE

Mike Tyson has revealed he is ready to return to the WWE anytime soon, because of his love of boxing.

Nicknamed Iron Mike, the 51-year-old American remains the youngest boxer to win a world title at 20. He won his first 19 professional fights before the limit, including 12 in the first round.


After winning the WBC title in 1986, the title of WBA in March 1987, in August of that year, he won the IBF title and became undisputed world champion of the heavyweights.

He lost his belt three years later after a match against James Buster Douglas in 1990. Mike Tyson made his WWE debut in 1998. He was in the ring as a special referee of Wrestlemania XIV’s main bout between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels. He would have received $ 3 million for this role.

In 2012, after entering the Boxing Hall of Fame, Mike Tyson enters a second honor for his ring-stellar feats as a WWE star. Even after his retirement, his love for boxing is as strong as at the beginning of his career.

“I’m always ready to come back. I like WWE. I would love to come back, “he said in an interview with WWE presenter Cathy Kelley at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

After an incredible career, the former professional boxer totals 50 wins in 58 fights.
