Former Ghanaian Footballer Junior Agogo Dies at the Age of 40

Former Ghanaian international, Junior Agogo died on Thursday, August 22, 2019, at the age of 40 in London. A big loss for the country of black stars!

Forward striker  he helped his country to qualify for CAN 2008 in scoring the goal of qualifying against Nigeria in the quarterfinals.

Seven years later, Junior Agogo suffered a stroke, his physique suffered the consequences.

His club career was marked by his struggles with Zamalek. According football365, Agogo had obtained from this club the payment of 1.2 million euros after seizing FIFA.

He started as a first team at Sheffield Wednesday, his training club, in 1997. He then went on to experience fifteen different clubs in his career, playing in England, the United States, Egypt, Cyprus and Scotland. He ended his career in 2012. Agogo suffered a first heart attack three years ago. A new heart attack was fatal.
