Floyd Mayweather’s Biography And Net Worth – Cars, Mansions, Assets, Women, etc..!!

Floyd Mayweather literally fought his way to fame. Up until his retirement, Mayweather had a perfect boxing record, winning 49 professional fights, and losing none. His insane talent in the ring earned him the title of “best pound for pound boxer in the world.” As you can imagine, with that title comes a hefty paycheck. In 2013, Forbes listed Mayweather as the highest paid athlete on the planet. As of today, his net worth is estimated to be somewhere between $500 and $700 million.

Mayweather officially retired back in 2015, when he defeated Andre Berto in front of 14,000 fans. The historic fight at the MGM Grand earned him $32 million – not bad for a single night of work. His total career earnings added up to almost an even $700 million over the course of 19 years. For reference, the only other athletes to earn more money in their career were Tiger Woods with $1.4 billion and Michael Schumacher with almost $800 million. Interestingly enough, nearly a third of Mayweather’s career winnings ($220 million) came from his second last fight against Manny Pacquiao.

Like many other successful businessmen, Mayweather has multiple sources of income. Aside from earning big bucks as a fighter, Mayweather also cashed out handsomely in endorsement deals with giants like Hublot and Burger King. At one point he signed a hefty deal with Reebok, but it was retracted after he went on a shopping spree at Nike and posted his multi-thousand-dollar haul all over social media.

Speaking of social media, Mayweather isn’t shy about showing off his wealth. He often posts flashy photos on his Instagram account ranging from his $6.5 million watch collection, to him straight up counting $1,000,000 in cash on his private jet.

When it comes to spending, Mayweather doesn’t hold back. He has come a very long way from his early days, back when he used to rely on food stamps to get a hot plate. Today, the fighter has no shortage of cash, and he likes to flaunt it. His spending habits are so bad that he often charters a separate jet for his bodyguards.

On the ground, Mayweather has a fleet of exotic cars, which includes the most expensive car in the world. It’s hard to tell just how many vehicles he owns, but that number is somewhere over 100, according to the man himself. As if owning 100 cars wasn’t enough, Mayweather often buys multiple versions of the same car just because he “likes the style.” Since he can’t drive 100 cars at the same time, he keeps a them parked on his many properties. Fun fact: Mayweather reportedly has a fleet of all black cars in LA, and a fleet of all-white in Miami.

Despite having a lot of liquid assets, Mayweather barely has any money in the bank – the man is obsessed with cash. When he goes on his extravagant shopping sprees it’s not uncommon for him to carry a duffle bag full of hundreds. Another ridiculous “rich guy” thing that Mayweather does is only wear his shoes once – he does the same exact thing with his underwear.

Aside from houses, cars, and clothes, Mayweather is known for his love of jewelry. He spends millions of diamond encrusted watches, bracelets, and necklaces. He isn’t a stranger of blowing large sums of money at the casino, either. It’s not uncommon for him to make (and win) 7-figure bets at the blackjack table.

While he loves to spend a lot of money on himself, Mayweather isn’t completely selfish. In 2007 he founded a non-profit organization that promotes youth leadership. Though this organization, Mayweather raised (and donated) millions of dollars to help underprivileged youth in Las Vegas, Nevada.
