Didier Drogba have given the equivalent of 650 million FCFA to the Ivorian government for the fight against the coronavirus? The information that has been circulating for a few days is unfortunately not true according to a source close to the player.

Several days ago, media and social media activists attributed a donation to the Ivorian government for Didier Drogba. This sum which would amount to 1 million euros (650 million FCFA), should be used according to the same sources for the fight against the coronavirus. Well, although the intention of the latter is good, it is not. The former captain of the elephants has not given such an amount to the Ivorian authorities, according to Adamah Khalil, a close friend of the player.

“Don’t worry about it. Please do not relay… if there is anything. It is the official DD services (Didier Drogba, editor’s note) that will relay. ”, He said during our exchanges via messenger this Saturday morning.
