Egypt Blocks Osama Bin Laden’s Son From Entering The Country

Egypt’s authorities at the Cairo International airport denied Omar Osam Bin Laden entry into the country on Sunday reports Daily News Egypt.

The son of the former leader of the Sunni Islamist Multi-national organization, Al-Qaeda, Osama Bin laden, was blocked by Egypt’s security services from entering the North African nation upon arriving from Qatari using EgyptAir flight 940.


Osama bin Laden, Abdullah Azzam, and several other Arab volunteers’ founded Al-Qaeda in 1988. The group attacked civilian and military targets in various countries, including the 1998 US embassy bombings in Tanzania and Kenya, the 11 September 2001 attacks in the United States, and the 2002 Bali bombings in Indonesia.

The US government responded to the 11 September attacks by launching the War on Terror. Leading to the death of Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden by the hands of US Special Forces during an early morning raid in Abbottabad, Pakistan on 2 May 2011.
