Passportindex.org, the site that establishes the global ranking of passports based on their ease of travel, lists 48 countries where Gabonese passport holders can travel without a visa.
Holders of a Gabonese passport can go to 17 countries without having to complete the formalities for obtaining an entry visa. This is the case of Bangladesh, Chad, Ecuador, Haiti, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mauritania, Micronesia, Morocco, Panama, the Philippines, Sao Tome and Principe, Singapore, South Africa, St. Vincent and Grenadines and Tunisia.
To these 17 countries, are added thirty in which the holders of the passport Gabon can complete their formalities for obtaining the visa once at the airport. This is the case of Cambodia, Cape Verde, Comoros, Congo K, Djibouti, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Iran, Kenya, Laos, Madagascar, Malawi, Maldives, Mauritania, Mozambique, Nepal, Nicaragua, the Republic of Palau, Rwanda, Saint Lucia, Samoa, Senegal, Seychelles, Tanzania, East Timor, Togo, Turkey, Tuvalu and Uganda.
Sri Lanka, however, requires an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). A document that the traveler must have before flying to this island state of the Indian subcontinent in south-east India.
In Africa, the Seychellois passport is the one offering the most destination. It allows to travel freely in 126 countries (96 without a visa and 30 with a visa on arrival). The Somali passport is in addition, that offers the least possible destinations. Only about 30 countries in the world will welcome Somali passport holders without prior visa
