The Dos and Don’ts When You Visit the Masai Mara in Kenya

Thousands of tourists flock to the Masai Mara every year to watch what has been described as a spectacle — nowhere in the world is there a mass movement of animals as immense as the wildebeest migration.

Every year, millions of animals move from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to the greener pastures of the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. This phenomenon which is one of the wonders of the world takes place between July and October.


Earlier Soni Methu spoke to Denis Rotinek, an assistant warden at the park, about security in the reserve. He tells us some of the dos and don’ts when you visit the Mara.
