“As long as we have faith in each other and trust in God, then there is no goal at all beyond our reach,” President Trump told CPAC this morning after thanking Christians for voting for him.

“I wanna thank, by the way, the evangelical community, the Christian community, communities of faith,” Trump said.

He called the support he received from evangelicals “amazing.”

Shortly before praising evangelicals, Trump said, “We all are equal – totally equal – in the eyes of Almighty God.” He had been commenting on how Americans are “all citizens of this blessed land.”

Despite mentioning God and thanking evangelicals at the end of his speech, Trump didn’t mention life, marriage, or religious liberty once.

His speech focused heavily on national security, immigration, and regulations and the economy. The CPAC ballroom in which he spoke was filled to capacity. Throughout Trump’s speech, the crowd erupted in chants of “U-S-A, U-S-A!”

Trump also promised to repeal and replace Obamacare, which threatens the “medical system with absolute and total catastrophe.” He praised Dr. Tom Price, his new Secretary of Health and Human Services.

At the beginning of his speech, and to the delight of the crowd, Trump blasted the mainstream liberal media as “fake news.”

“They make up sources,” he said. “They’re very dishonest people. In fact, in covering my comments, the dishonest media” didn’t note that he called them “fake news” – just that he insulted the media.

“That’s the way they are,” he continued. “I’m not against the media; I’m not against the press. I don’t mind bad stories if I deserve ’em…but I am only against the fake news media or press. Fake! Fake…I’m against the people that make up stories and make up sources. They shouldn’t be allowed to use sources unless they use somebody’s name.”

“There are some great reporters around…but there are some terrible dishonest people” who do a “tremendous disservice” to the country with their reporting, he said. “You will see stories dry up like you’ve never seen before” if they stop using fake anonymous sources.

He called CNN the “Clinton News Network” and blasted major networks for creating a “false narrative.”

They always bring up the First Amendment, he said, but “Nobody loves it better than me. Who uses it more than I do? But the First Amendment gives all of us…the right to speak our minds freely. It gives you the right and me the right to criticize fake news and criticize it strongly.”

Trump also lambasted the push for a One World Order: “Global cooperation…is good…but there is no such thing as a global anthem, a global currency, or a global flag. This is the United States of America that we represent. I’m not representing the globe. I’m representing your country.”

“God bless you and God bless the United States of America!” he finished.
