Duchess Meghan Markle once again managed to attract attention during one of her recent public outings. While competing in the women’s final of the Wimbledon tennis tournament, Meghan Markle was the main attraction not for her dress, but for her hat that she held in her hands.
Although the Duchess was traditionally dressed in light-colored clothes and a Panama-style hat, her hat was the focus of attention.
With Kate Middleton, they held one of the best seats in the gallery to attend the match played by her friend Serena Williams. The Duchess was forced to take off her hat because the women who occupy these seats are asked to avoid wearing hats to “not spoil the viewers behind them”, according to the rules for the published royal seat on the Wimbledon site.
If we stick to the statement of a representative of the competition at the Daily Mail, panama hats were allowed. But it seems that Meghan preferred to respect the general rule.
