In the south of Mumbai in India would be the largest house in the world nicknamed Antilla (named after a ghost island in the Atlantic).
The largest house in the world is nothing less than a 22-story private skyscraper located in the heart of Mumbai. The building has 37,000 m² and a height of 165 meters. Its design is just as incredible: every floor of the house has its own style. Its construction would have cost no less than one billion euros.
This house, located about 700 meters from the coast is a private residence owned by Indian magnate Mukesh Ambani. The construction of the Antilla lasted almost 7 years.
This magnificent masterpiece has 27 floors with a high ceiling. It is an earthquake resistant building that can withstand an earthquake. The apartment has six underground car parks that can accommodate 168 cars, three heliports, four floors dedicated to hanging gardens, an Olympic swimming pool and a floor that can be considered as a personal hospital.
It has 29 rooms, three swimming pools, nine lifts, a cinema and theater room and its own power station.
While some Indians are proud of this construction, others consider it shameful especially in a country where many children suffer from hunger.
