Babies are normally born at nine months, and induced if they go two weeks over their due date for the safety of both mother and child.
They typically learn to walk between the ages of 12 and 18 months.
Clotilde told an Ivorian TV station: “When I was pregnant with Didier I went over my due date. It went on for ten months before he was born.
“But he was walking by the time he was seven months old. He never crawled on all fours.”
Clotilde previously revealed she nicknamed her son Tito after then Yugoslav president Marshal Josip Tito, who she admired.
Drogba’s parents sent him to France aged five to live with an uncle, professional footballer Michel Goba.
