Despite the Economic Crisis, Ivorian MPs Increase their Salary by 500,000 CFA francs

The year is starting well for them. The Ivorian parliamentarians will receive, by the end of January, 500,000 CFA francs more on their emoluments.

This will increase their monthly salary to two million six hundred and sixty-five thousand CFA francs (2,665 million). The Ivorian deputies, according to our colleague Jeune Afrique, who gives the information in this last issue (edition of January 14, 2018), negotiated ” tight ” this increase.


And this last December. The government had tabled the 2018 budget on their table. The term of office of the current members runs until 2021.
