The world of basketball and sports is mourning. NBA legend Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash on Sunday at the age of 41.
The basketball player’s daughter, Gianna, 13, was also among the victims of the crash. TMZ reports that Kobe Bryant and his daughter died Sunday morning in Calabasas, California, while traveling with three other people in a private helicopter.
Emergency personnel immediately arrived at the scene of the tragedy, but were unable to save anyone on board.
Bryant and Gianna were on their way to the Mamba Academy for basketball training. Witnesses say they heard noises from the engine before the helicopter crashed.
The investigations were opened to determine the cause of the accident. Since the announcement of the death of Kobe Byrant, tributes continue to multiply on social networks.
