“Cows Stole Four of My Underwear,” South African Woman Laments

Many South Africans blame cows for stealing their underwear. They said that they want the breeders to watch their animals closely before they end up again without underwear.

Moditebo Thys, 33, a resident of Khayelitsha Kasi in Mangaung, South Africa, said that when they put clothes on the clothesline, the cows enter their yard and steal them.

“I lost four pairs of pants in two weeks” says Moditebo.

“At first, I thought maybe he was one of my neighbours.”

” I could not believe my eyes when I saw a cow chewing one of the pairs after removing it from my clothesline.”

She claims that she would not put her pants back on the clothesline until she had erected a fence.

Another resident said:

“These cows have abandoned the grass to eat our underpants. They choose the colorful ones. If your underwear is black, you will find them intact. “We urge breeders to take care of their cows”.

“We can not tell our underwear to hide from cows, when we are not present. One day, I saw these cows with pink underwear on their horns. “

According to the Daily Sun a shepherd who confided to Motshweneng Mailane laughed and said that his cows never stole pants.

“I’m always with my cows, and I take care of them,” he said.

“Maybe they’re talking about other shepherds who let their cows wander.”

“I will ask them to take care of their animals.”
