Covid-19: Senegal’s Demba Cissé Offers 40 Million FCFA to Health Centers and Needy Children in the Country

The Covid-19 is still talked about in all continents and in certain countries of the world. West African countries have not been left behind in this health crisis. In Senegal, international footballer Demba Cissé made his heart speak by making a donation of 40 million FCFA to poor children and to health centers.


In order to fight against the harmful effects of the coronavirus pandemic, the attacker of the Turkish team, Alanyaspor offered the sum of 40 million FCFA to certain health centers and to the children of “Daaris” (Koranic schools) ).

“Far from prying eyes, Daaras (Koranic schools) in Dakar, Thiès, the Youssou Mbargane hospital in Rufisque, etc. have benefited from foodstuffs and hygiene kits. Without forgetting associations based in Pikine, ”reported a colleague.

Note that to date, the number of deaths and infections of COVID-19 has risen dangerously in West Africa. The provisional assessment of cases of COVID-19 infection in West Africa established is 1713 confirmed cases, for 56 dead and 318 cured.
