Image result for COVID-19: Creative Ghanaian Man Turns Metallic Drums into Hand-washing Sinks at Bus Stops [PHOTOS]The coronavirus has thus far infected many people in Africa and some of the cases were identified as local transmissions.

Now, more than ever, it’s important to follow the guidelines on how to stay healthy – including washing one’s hands.

One creative man’s project might just help do that in areas where it would be hard to wash hands. Twitter user, @Munyai_R_Gundo, shared a before-and-after photo of the man’s creation.

Take a look at the post below:

@Munyai_R_Gundo did not reveal who the man is or where he is from. However, South Africans assumed he was from Mzansi and they called for him to be recognised.

Many felt the portable wash basin would be a great addition at taxi ranks where people can’t just wash their hands.

Social media user, @moifo14, commented:

“I’m proud of this initiative, hope our government hops on it.”

Another tweep, @emily_teffoM, added:

“Wow this would be great for schools, even households, you can place it outside for washing hands when doing yard chores.”

Twitter user, @RealKingDennyX, wrote:

“I pray the government is interested in your plan and puts this everywhere.”

In other news, a newly-suspected case of coronavirus otherwise known as COVID-19 that was identified at Weija-Gbawe in the Greater Accra-Region has turned out negative.

It was reported that the victim was quarantined, awaiting further directives and transfer to the Noguchi Memorial Research Centre for further tests.
