Chinese Auto Parts Manufacturer, CITIC Dicastal, Launches 3rd Plant In Morocco

Chinese auto parts manufacturer, CITIC Dicastal, kicked off the launch of its third Morocco-based plant on Wednesday.



The plant, built, with an initial investment of 200 million U.S. dollars will bring an additional 760 jobs to Morocco’s Atlantic Free Zone in Kenitra once it officially opens in August.


Chinese ambassador to Morocco, Li Changlin said that the project is China’s largest investment in Morocco and marks a major achievement of the Belt and Road cooperation.


Moroccan Minister of Industry and Trade Ryad Mezzour praised the new plant as a model of China-Morocco economic and trade cooperation, which will produce economic and social benefits for both sides.
