Lu Dongfu, general manager of China Railway Corporation, said the Chinese high-speed train Fuxing (“Renaissance”) will be the first in the world to implement an automatic driving system at 350 km / h.
The innovation is that the train is automated, that is to say there is no driver, and can travel 350 kilometers in one hour of time.
This first automated high-speed train in the world will link Beijing and Zhangjiakou, 174 km. With this new line, the journey between the two cities will take 47 minutes compared to 3 hours previously.
This new high-speed train is considered to be the first “intelligent TGV in the world”: it is fully automated and can reach 350 km / h without a driver. Its trains are also equipped for the future 5G and inside, passengers can recharge their phones via wireless chargers, each seat has its own touch pad.
The oars were designed to store ski and mountain equipment, with more space. A total of 2,718 sensors analyze traffic in real time and detect any anomalies.
Currently, in China, there are 30 daily trains which provide the connection and six are operated by the new machine. To get a ticket on one of these new trains, you have to book two days in advance and prices vary between 10 and 35 euros.
According to Chinese media, in stations, facial recognition systems and robots have been installed to guide passengers and answer their questions about luggage, directions and check-in, all at an estimated total cost of 6 billion dollars, according to Daily Mail.
It should be noted that China will organize the Olympic games in 2022.
