Things got extremely heated in Saturday night’s Madrid derby between Atletico And Real, with the bulk of the tension coming from Cristiano Ronaldo and Koke.
Both men were booked after a second half scuffle and now Spanish Radio station Copeclaim to have knowledge of just what was said in the spat.
According to the Spanish outlet, hat-trick hero Ronaldo told his teammates after the game what the Spanish midfielder had say to him.
As per their reports, Ronaldo said:
“Koke called me a faggot!”
When a teammate asked Ronaldo for clarity, he is believed to have said:
“You are a faggot, he said to me. I said to him ‘If we meet in Madrid, you’ll see what I’ll do’.“
When a different teammate asked the Real Madrid superstar about what was said, his response was said to be something along the lines of:
“Koke, he called me a faggot. I said yes, ‘yes, a faggot. But a very rich one, you bastard.“
Ronaldo certainly had the last laugh in the game, with the Portuguese man scoring his 39th career hat-trick away at the Calderon, in a result that now means they are nine points ahead of their city rivals and four ahead of Barcelona in second place.
