Cameroon’s President Paul Biya “Very Concerned” About France’s Yellow Vests

“The president asked me about the movement of yellow vests , he followed with interest all Cameroonians trying to understand what was going to happen. So, I told him about the measures announced by the Prime Minister, the opening of a dialogue that was difficult to establish because it is a multifaceted movement, “said Gilles Thibault, France’s ambassador to Cameroon after a audience with President Biya.

According to several media including Koaci, the movement of yellow vests is closely followed in Africa, especially in Cameroon. Many people are worried about the fate of their parents in France.

It must be emphasized that the African diaspora in France is fairly consistent. While waiting for yellow vests, what about secessionists in northwestern Cameroon?
