The singer and her ex have been waging a legal war for several months. Kevin Federline is demanding an increase of the $ 20,000 he receives each month as child support for his two sons, Sean, 12, and Jayden, 11.
Britney’s father, Jamie, is reported to have offered his former son-in-law a surplus of $ 10,000 each month, but Federline rejected the offer.
Both parties’ lawyers were in court earlier this month when the judge ordered the superstar to pay his ex’s legal fees, reports The Blast.
However, the judge’s decision was not entirely in favor of Federline, as both parties were also ordered to pay $ 10,000 each to officials of a dispute settlement company. Their next hearing will be held on October 18th.
The former couple share the custody of the children, but in the testimony, Federline wants to review the agreement on child support because of the fall in income.
Federline, on the other hand, claims that Britney Spears was earning millions thanks to her residency in Las Vegas.
