The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has arrested Asia Huang popularly called Aisha, the Chinese woman who is reportedly deeply engaged in the illegal mining (galamsey) menace in Ghana.
Aisha’s arrest follows revelations of how she used to blackmail officials and authorities who had attempted to arrest her. Aisha the untouchable Chinese galamsey queen.
This is the fourth time Aisha has been arrested, apparently, in the previous times she blackmailed the power brokers because she had videos of them in amorous acts.
Explaining how she was arrested, the Comptroller General at the Ghana Immigration Service, Kwame Takyi said the GIS got permission and order from the Interior Minister Ambrose Dery to arrest the Chinese woman.
“We picked information about this lady called Aisha so we immediately had to take effective action and arrest her. We sought permission from the Minister of Interior and his deputy, Mr. Ambrose Dery and Henry Quartey and they gave instruction to quickly arrest her.”
Mr Takyi added that Aisha is in the custody of the Immigration service in Accra whiles investigations continues. aware that the Chinese woman holds an indefinite residence status which means she is married, to a Ghanaian and could stay in the country.
Hoping she is indicted this time and she doesn’t have anything dirty to blackmail by.
