After His Training with Dortmund, Usain Bolt Gives His Choice on Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo

Former Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt has made it clear that he is an admirer of Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, but he compared himself to Lionel Messi.

The 31-year-old and eight-time Olympic champion, retired last year after an incredible career. Asked Wednesday, Usain Bolt said he is a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, but says he identifies more with Messi. For the Sprint star, both have incredible natural talent.


“Messi is very talented and I like to watch him play football. From what I’ve learned and listened to over the years, Cristiano has had to work hard to get where he is. I was born with speed and I had a lot of talent like Messi, “he told Omnisport.

Usain Bolt wants to get into football and started training with Borussia Dortmund this week. These practices are a step towards helping him achieve his dream of playing for Manchester United.
