Africa’s First Waste To Gas Plant Opens In Cape Town

Cape Town has opened Africa’s first waste-to-energy plant. New Horizons waste-to energy plant will process 10 % of Cape Town’s waste, approximately 500 tonnes of waste every day, turning the waste into renewable natural gas and fertilizer.
