African Super-Child!!: Meet The Super-Creative Student Who Build An Amazing “Sculpture” For Final Year Project

It is no doubt that Nigerians are very creative people. We work hard and try to find out ways to solve our problems by our own selves in most cases.

It is in that same vein that we found William Nzube Eluagu whose art sculpture we are completely in love with.

William hails from Imo state and he studied Art and Sculpture at the Yaba College of Technology in Lagos. For his final year project in school, William came up with this sculpture which he called “Your Destiny is in Your Hand”. This artwork which is now mounted at the frontage of the Art Complex in the school was made from used plastic cans and bottles.

He made this totally out of waste plastic.

Here’s William working on the sculpture.

William brings definition to the term ‘upcycling’ which means the process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products of better quality or for better environmental use.

Apart from this, Williams is an all round visual artist as we saw some drawings and paintings on his Facebook page.
