Developments turned sour for Ghanaian immigrant in the European country of Malta who took his life after “feeling like a criminal” by the new immigration policy in the country.
33-year-old Frederick Ofosu was found hanged to an electric cable at an uncompleted building.He left a recorded message for friends explaining his despair, saying he was being forced to feel like a criminal when he had done no wrong, according to Ahmed Bugri, director for the Foundation for Shelter and Support for Migrants.
Meanwhile, the foreign ministry is yet to officially comment on this tragedy.
