Abraham Waya: Nigerian-born Pastor Awarded Boston University Best Part Time Faculty Award


The University Boston Metropolitan College has awarded the 2021 Roger Deveau Part-Time Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching to Nigerian-born, Dr. Abraham Waya.

Dr Waya is a Nigerian-born ordained pastor of the United Methodist Church who as been a part-time faculty of the University for the past 16 years.


Dr. Waya is also a defence analyst who obtained his PhD from the Russian Academy of Sciences.

During the citation it was noted that Dr. Waya transforms the classroom with his rich global experience and compassion.

Dr. Waya in his response told the spoke about the importance of dreaming big and striving to use what you have learned to make a different world.
