A UK Mayor Bans Donald Trump from Entering His City. Here are his reasons….

US President Donald Trump has been banned from entering the big British city of Sheffield during his upcoming state visit to the UK, said Mayor Magid Magid.

Wearing a traditional Mexican Sombero hat, Magid announced her decision at a meeting of the Sheffield City Council Wednesday as a sign of solidarity with Mexican immigrants.

The mayor also sported ceremonial town hall chains and a black t-shirt with the inscription “Donald Trump is a wasteman”, a slang term for people who lack merit and maturity.

The decision does not really bar Trump’s visit because Magid does not have the power to ban anyone in Sheffield, which is one of the largest cities in the country with a population of about 570,000. Trump should not stop at Sheffield on her next trip at the end of the month, which includes meetings with Queen Elizabeth II and Premier Theresa May.

He can also visit Scotland and play golf on one of the golf courses he owns in Ayrshire and Aberdeenshire. Magid, himself a former Somali refugee who arrived in the UK at the age of 5, encouraged people to join protests against Trump.

He stated that Trump was a “wasteman” because he had banned the entry into Mulism from several countries, had withdrawn from the Paris climate agreement, moving the US embassy to Israel to Jerusalem al-Quds despite the international outcry, imprisoning immigrant children in the United States. border and refusing to condemn racist groups.

This is Trump’s first visit to the United Kingdom since entering the White House in January 2017. He had postponed the trip several times in fear of public protests.
