An Oregon man died of a heart attack after being told – falsely – that President Donald Trump had been indicted on his obituary, and that he then resigned.
Michael Garland Elliott, 75, died on April 6 after suffering multiple health problems. His ex-wife Teresa Elliott, who is described as his “best friend” and his only surviving family member / relative, was the last voice he heard before his death.
According to the obituary published in the Oregonian. She told him that the president had been indicted and that he was then forced to resign.
“And the last thing she told her was” Donald Trump was indicted. ” He had a heart attack and died “.
Trump, of course, was not indicted. He is still the president. Teresa Elliott could not be contacted to comment.
