50 Cent has been trying to sell his 52-room Connecticut mansion for 12 years. Now, he finally has at an 84% price cut, The Wall Street Journal reported.
The home sold for $2.9 million in a sale brokered by Jennifer Leahy of Douglas Elliman.
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, bought the Farmington, Connecticut home from former boxer Mike Tyson for $4.1 million in 2003, according to the Journal, a sale that set a record for the most expensive home ever sold in Farmington.
Farmington is about 80 miles north of the affluent city of Greenwich .
The 50,000-square-foot mansion was originally listed at $18.5 million in 2015, but it’s seen several price cuts since then and was most recently listed at $4.995million, according to The Journal.
The home boasts 19bedrooms, 25 bathrooms, an indoor pool and hot tub, a night club, an indoor court, multiple game rooms, a green screen room, a recording studio, and many other opulent features, according to the former listing from Douglas Elliman Real Estate .
