Here Are 5 Things to Know About Hillary Clinton’s Doctor

Hillary Clinton’s campaign plans to release more medical information this week after the Democratic presidential nominee’s diagnosis of pneumonia was confirmed Sunday by her Westchester County, N.Y., physician, Dr. Lisa Bardack.

A statement from Bardack, a Mount Kisco internist, ended a period of confusion Sunday after Clinton attended the 9/11 memorial ceremony at Ground Zero but left because she was feeling unwell around 9:30 a.m. ET.

Barack has been described as the longtime physician of Clinton, who returned to her Chappaqua home after the health episode Sunday.

Here are some things to know about Bardack’s professional history:

• Bardack is the chair of internal medicine at CareMount Medical, a physician group of more than 500 doctors in the Hudson Valley, according to its website. It was formerly Mount • Kisco Medical Group before a name change earlier this year.
• She graduated from University of Pennsylvania in 1986 and New York University School of Medicine in 1990, the website and state Department of Health records show.
• Bardack is affiliated with Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, which is part of Northwell Health, formerly North Shore-LIJ Health System.
• She is an assistant clinical professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and is certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine, according to state records and CareMount’s website.

There is no record of disciplinary actions or medical malpractice claims involving Bardack, according to state records.
