Ever been caught in a situation where your phone disappears and you can’t seem to put a finger on where you left it or what you did with it. And after searching frantically for it, you suddenly remember putting it on Silent Mode at the work. Frustrating right?
SMS Phrase
For this procedure, you don’t need to have a Wi-Fi or 3G connection. All you need to do is to download the ring my droid application on your phone. The app will ask you to choose an SMS phase – this is the phrase that will trigger the mobile device to ring. When you need to use it, simply send the SMS command with your friend’s or colleague’s phone.
Set up Android Device Manager
The Device Manager is can be used to hunt for a stolen phone or wipe out data if it’s officially misplaced. After installing it, the phone will be connected to your Google account making it easy for you to track it whenever you want. You will be asked to log into your account and afterwards, the devices connected to your Android device manager would appear and you can call the exact phone. It should ring for 5 minutes.
By Clapping
This may be funny but it is true. By clapping your hands, you can find your phone if you download the app called Clap to find. Just adjust the sensitivity of your phone to its maximum level so that it can recognise your clapping pattern and every time the phone goes missing, simply clap three time and the phone should ring. The downside is that anyone can get the phone to ring just by clapping.
What other ways do you think you can find a phone on silent mode?
